EMMA’S FUND — Enriching Children’s Futures at Camp Scene

Emma’s Fund honors the cherished legacy of Emma Soorikian, who, despite grappling with her own mental health challenges, devoted herself to inspiring and nurturing the children she worked with. Her family founded the Emma Soorikian Memorial Fund at DEF with the purpose of granting opportunities for Decatur’s children to pursue their interests and aspirations through afterschool and summer experiences at Camp Scene.

Join us in honoring Emma’s legacy of kindness and compassion by contributing to Emma’s Fund today.

JOSHUA’S FUND — Empowering Global Explorations for Decatur Students

Joshua’s Fund celebrates the vibrant spirit of Joshua Faison, a Decatur High School graduate with a profound love for exploring the world. In collaboration with DEF, Joshua’s family established the Joshua Faison Memorial Fund, dedicated to providing international educational opportunities for Decatur students experiencing financial challenges, including study abroad programs, cultural exchanges, and global internships.

Help open doors to global exploration for Decatur students by supporting Joshua’s Fund today and celebrating the life of Joshua Faison.
