ABOUT JOSHUA MALIK FAISON

Born on November 12, 1997, to his parents, Reginald Faison, Jr. and Nadine Faison, Joshua’s journey included graduating from Decatur High School in 2015 and a six-year tenure as a dedicated driver at United Parcel Service (UPS). Known for his floral, bubbly, and friendly personality, Joshua forged numerous friendships at UPS, earning high regard from management. Whether behind the wheel or spending time with friends, cousins, and family, Joshua — also known as J-Smooth to family and Jiggy to friends — embodied qualities of handsomeness, coolness, suavity, and debonair charm.

Joshua’s vibrant personality was complemented by a deep spiritual connection, evident in his close relationship with the Bible, which he not only read but lived by. Tragically, Joshua passed away on March 7, 2023, leaving a legacy of compassion, curiosity, and a profound appreciation for exploring our world.
