Donor-Advised Funds and Qualified Charitable Distributions

You can support Decatur Education Foundation through your donor advised fund (DAF) or charitable qualified distribution. Just direct your DAF gift to Decatur Education Foundation, Inc. by selecting DEF as the grant recipient. Please contact Merry Pope if you have any questions or need to get DEF added to your DAF list.

Honor or Memorial Tributes

A tribute gift is a thoughtful way to celebrate or acknowledge family and friends. When you make a tribute or memorial gift, we will send a notice to the person or their family.  When you make your gift, be sure to designate it as a tribute and complete the form providing DEF with the honoree and notificant information. 

Matching Gifts

Double your impact! Matching gifts enable DEF to do more for students, teachers and schools in our community. Check with your company’s Human Resources department to find out if your company participated in a matching gift program.

Planned Gift or Bequest

You can designate Decatur Education Foundation, Inc. as the recipient of a cash gift or percentage of your estate in your will. You may also designate the Decatur Education Foundation, Inc. as a beneficiary of a charitable trust, life insurance policy, or IRA.
