Everybody knows that kindergarteners need daily outdoor time. Winnona Park Kindergarten teacher Maleea March saw that her students could benefit from some simple tools to help them explore their natural environment. With a DEF grant, she purchased supplies as well as a storage facility to keep them. The tools and gadgets fuel their imaginations and encourages group exploration and play. Having the outside storage makes transitions to and from recess a breeze, and allows other classes to enjoy the equipment too.
