Trampolines are great in P.E. for obstacle courses and rainy day activities, but Clairemont teacher Ms. Nichols knows they can be an essential tool in the classroom as well. With the help of a DEF grant, she was able to purchase six mini trampolines to be used in P.E. and in designated classrooms for students to take “brain breaks” for sensory stimulation. These short bursts of activity will help students to stay focused on their schoolwork and reduce classroom interruptions.
