Help DEF Close a Gap: School Supplies Drive Needs You

We’re halfway through the month—and while we’ve made great progress, we’re not quite halfway to our goal of 400 school supplies kits for kids in need.

DEF is partnering with the City Schools of Decatur through their Back-to-School Bash to ensure that every student starts the year with the tools they need to succeed. Through our school supplies drive, we aim to provide supply kits to hundreds of students across the district who might otherwise begin the school year without the necessary tools.

This year’s goal is ambitious—but the need is real. With just a few weeks to go before the July 6 deadline, we’re calling on our community to help us cross the finish line.

HERE’S HOW YOU CAN HELP

It’s easy to make a direct impact. For under $15, you can provide a complete school supply kit for a student in need. Kits are purchased through our vendor, EPI, and will be distributed by DEF staff during the Back to School Bash.
